The Mastodon Award was created to recognize Arrowmen who are active, upstanding, and honorable members of Mishigami Lodge and the Order of the Arrow. In order to be considered for this award, you must first have achieved brotherhood, be a dues-paying member in good standing for at least 2 years, and be nominated by another member. After submission, the Awards Selection Committee will review your application based on how the individual lives by the Scout Oath and Law, as well as the Obligation and the Admonition “to love one another,” and how they go above and beyond the call to Service in the Order of the Arrow or in Scouting. After review, the selected candidates will be presented with the award at Winter Banquet.
